eddie99 - 12/6/10 at 04:34 PM

Just had a great day playing a bit of cricket and Rowan Atkinson's son was playing against us...
Anyway, he came in his Mclaren F1 and it is obviously amazing
Here are some pics of it next to my puma

And on the boundary, he was supposedly reading the script for Johnny English 2 which is supposed to be released next year

That's pretty cool, a supercar user who is actually prepared to use the thing.

Good on him.

I've had a broadly similar experience involving well known Italian cars and it's nice to see those out and about and being used too.

Having said that, it's a rare beast that will outdo a McLaren in the sub zero coolness stakes.

Ohhhhhhh you lucky bu66er

an all time favourite of mine and as Zil says - nice to see it used!

More importantly did you beat him?

SeaBass - 12/6/10 at 06:10 PM

He lent it to Evo magazine to use in a road test for the latest issue. His instructions: "Make sure you give it a good workout". Total dude in my opinion...

They are worth a shitload now too.

When i was younger (prep school) I played his son at rugby and he turned up in it to watch The school had some horrendous speed bumps so couldn't actually park it in the school, he had to leave it in the entrance!

Pretty brave parking it within striking distance of the boundary at a cricket match

Stuart_B - 13/6/10 at 08:34 AM

nice car.

Worzey - 13/6/10 at 08:42 AM

Eddie,

Nice car!!!! But who parked that F1 in front of it?

I've played cricket against David Essex he was a really nice bloke. His appeal for LBW was very musical.

I wanted a puma when I was 18 but thought the 1.4 was too slow and couldnt get insurance on a 1.7. I will own one soon though
