modelling foamy stuff

anyone know where to get the foam stuff and the plaster that folk use when theyre designing bodywork?

kingspan celotex from builders merchants

I use this stuff - unlike the builders foam it can be fibreglass'd and filled .

the kingspan/celotex is also polyurethane based so can be fiberglassed and filled.

If you have any companies nearby that deal with refridgeration/insulated vans or similar they may be able to supply you with polyurethane insulation, or put you onto a supplier. You can also "blow" your own, in usefull shapes if you can get the raw materials to mix.

The foam is classified by density, I used a 32 kg per cubic metre density, heavier would be better.
