It is a Fyuse link of a 3D image, no viruses, give it a try?
nice!
Very clever! But that's a shocking bit of parking.
Is that a proper 3D model with a texture added or just a load of photos stitched together to give a 360 view ?
Nice nonetheless.
I am not sure about the technology, when you press the 3D button on the phone it goes thru a wonderous piece of post processing displaying a bunch or dots joined up with vectors eventually compiling the 3D panorama see Fyuse. The original image was 50Mbytes.
Thanks for the info. Just done a bit of reading and they are NOT 3D mesh models with a texture map on top I.e. traditional 3 D models - they are effectively a series of 2D pictures stitched together is what is effectively a static movie that you can fast forward/reverse using the app. Interesting, but I was hoping someone had cracked the problem of doing things like shape from shading or space carving in an easy to use way. Looks like the wait will continue.
Hi Ugg10,
You're looking for digital photogrammetry I suspect.
Search for free photogrammetry software. Is that what you meant?
There's plenty out there to read about, install and try.
Some of the best is free for educational use. So it would be really good if you could qualify for that!
