The US statistics show you or your loved ones are much more likely to get killed by a gun if you own a gun yourself.
But in South Africa I can understand owning a gun might be a good idea.
Maybe he got a bit confused and thought she was a simulant.
Shot once in the arm and once in the head becaus he thought she was an intruder... Hmm
Speculation that she crept into the house to surprise him for Valentines day. He thought she was an intruder and shot first, ask questions later.
