Just a heads up for the Battle of Britain flypast on Tuesday 15th September.
More than 40 Spitfires, Hurricanes, Blenheims and other appropriate aircraft from around the world will be taking off from Goodwood, forming up over
Selsey Bill and then flying off in different wings on predetermined routes spreading out to cover the the South of the England and ending up at Battle
of Britain airfields such as Biggin Hill, Duxford, Northweald, and Northolt, with some returning to Goodwood.
Entry to the airfield is by ticket only but they are FREE from the Goodwood website under the “Aerodrome” tab.
I'm absolutely gutted as I am away on my hols

That would be amazing to see, the spitfires have always been the ones I looked forward to at any air show I have been to. Love the sound of a merlin or 3.
Booked! will take my dear old Dad, he will love it. He was a kid when they were flying "for real" and used to make wood models.....
I had the pleasure of working in Kent today and got to see 2 passes, hurricanes and a Blenheim then a brace of spitfires banking above my head!
What a sight and even more what a soundtrack
Amazing
