what times of the day and days of the week can they call you ?
i keep geting egg credit card call me on my mobile rf insurance, its got so bad (85 calls this year) i called and cancelled my card today.
Google telephone preference service -covers mobiles, home phones, faxes.
Email pref and mail pref (linked) also sort out the rest of the scallies.
Takes 6 months to come in force proper but they get a huge fine if they contact you and you're on the list so most organisations spend a fair
amount of money ensuring that they stick to it. You need to be careful that you look for the tick boxes still on forms and web applications. The
bastards often use the "Do not tick the box if you do not wish to not take advantage of blah blah blah..."
i bet i'll get them call me asking why i cancelled my card now

But this does not stop companies that you have had previous dealings with contacting you.
So you need to tell Egg to remove you from there lists.
From now on you need to be careful to always fill out forms and tick the box not to update me with offers or from 3rd party companies as this is
express permission which bypasses the TPS register.
That includes web forms aswell

By any standards 85 calls in 25 days is way too excessive. This must warrant a complaint to the ombudsman.
