Hi folks,

I am in the process of rebuilding a 4age engine. Does anybody know where I can source the parts cheap i.e pistons, bearings etc?

Thanks

i know a lot of people on here have alot of parts. but i would suggest looking for dead ones on ebay.

i got one last year for £30 but it had piston damage. good for bits....

i actually sold it to some guy off here for £50 two months later as i didnt go with the 4age in the end.

sorry i cant help but im sure someone will....

ebay.com, US ebay has pages of parts for the 4 AGE, as the Californians are using the cars with that engine for drifting.

This may seem like a crazy idea.. but how about toyota?

Not sure about the UK, but in NZ the prices for genuine parts are only slightly more expensive than aftermarket options, but the quality is 100 times better.

I was going to suggest trying Toyota for service parts as I've bought a few parts fro my 20V which was never officially here. Toyota piston rings, head gaskets and bearings for example are quality parts. 4 forged pistons for the GZE engine were £150 and only took 4 days to arrive.

Otherwise Fensport and BPJ Services can help too.
