If it is the same as a E36 (I think it is) Ring Chris at MNR and ask him to run a tape over it, as thats where mine is.

It's a different box to the E36 box.

There's different boxes on the E30 depending on which engine, the getrag 240 is the box thats on the four pots and I can't remember what box comes on the six pot of the top of my head....

If you let me know which engine it was attached to I'll try and get a length for you from some of my old E30 contacts

Your right E36 318 is a Getrag 250
