Finally.....
.....got my missus to go for a proper run out in the motor!
Although I did make her wince a bit when I put the clog down once or twice on a quiet back road, she did enjoy the 'wind in the hair'
experience, especially as the weather is nice today.
Result! - she has been refusing to get in it since I first built it and I took her down the road and back a bit quickly.....now she's after
buying shades for next time

My Mrs first run was to Stoneleigh this year - she absolutely loved it, even with the lids on and the rain on the way home. She was supposed to stop
me spending money on bits but was worse than me when we were looking at the new lights and switches for the new dash

I have to let SWIMBO have a drive now and again too
She's a better driver than I am a passenger

My wife's first pax ride in my Stylus was at the end of our first date!
Maybe the lack of back seats let her feel safer?!

Took mine out for a spin n the country last night - it was all fine as long as i kept it below 3k rev and 50mph, anything else and she'd start
screaming she's easily excited my missus
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

You never got out of second gear then ? I bet you couldn't wait to get her back home
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
