Camping for the 2010 SILVERSTONE F1 GP

Guys

I've never camped (caravan or motorhome) at Silverstone before. Can anyone recommend me a camp-site which has the following criteria:

Close to Siverstone, 10 min stroll is OK, 30 min hike isn't

Will accept a group booking of around 10 caravans and motorhomes and site us all together

Quiet but not so quiet as they get pissed off with us having a BBQ, a little music and a few beers

That's about it folks! Any advice/experience will be much appreciated!

We used whittlebury park last year and have booked there again. There didnt seem to be any limit on number of bookings together. If you want somewhere quiet, book quick and ask for a golf course plot/s as against a farm plot.

Its <10 mins away from the circuit

I use Whittlebury for the Silverstone Classic,we get really civilised and take a caravan and pay the extra £10 for a power hookup, only £70 for the full 5 days.

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Do you mean the green area on this map?

Do you recall the price for the camping last year?

Thanks!

Thanks again Rob3!

One final question, how big are the plots? A few of the guys have the big American Miranda style motorhomes, will they be a problem?

Im not sure on the size, but there was some large motorhomes there last year. Shouldn't think you'd have a problem.

Not going to help me much unless you are offering me the use of her 'facilities'?

She is your 'ex' after all!
