nissan march super turbo engine
i have recently found out about this engine and i was originally going to use a 998cc A series, then thought, thats stupid, lets go Japanese.
its a 930cc engine with a super charger and turbo charger. and the car goes 0 - 60 in 7 seconds, about 10 seconds faster than a mini with the A
series. so i want one.
could i use a micra engine, and then use a kit to add the super charger and turbo or do i have to find the very rare engine.
essentially what im asking is, is there a kit that i can add to the 930cc standard micra engine to make it into the super turbo engine?

Not without spending £4k. The mini supercharger kits for hte A Series are around £3500, and a turbo can be added on the cheap, for about £500 if you
do all the work yourself.
Personally, i wouldnt bother. I thought about using the supercharger to spool a turbo, but thats something im going to play with at a later date.
Whats putting me off is the oil feed hoses etc.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

How rare are they? Could you find a damaged car still in Japan and import that for parts? Still won't be all that cheap though.
Put a bike engine in it? If you want more power you can always super or turbocharge that

Why not get a CG13DE engine from a k11 micra, and then turbo it? Similar size lump, more modern design, and lots available for reasonable cost ;-)

i just liked the idea of being a bit different, how awesome is it saying to someone you have a super charger and turbo charger...
they made 10,000 cars, as they wanted to enter into a rally where a certain amount of production cars had to be made... so quite rare, but its
basically a micra.

If you just want the pub bragging rights of a twin charged engine then a new ish VAG 1.4 engine that makes about 170bhp as standard (could prob be
tweaked to 200 or more?) could fit the bill. No idea about packaging, gearbox or weight but a lot less rare than the Micra twin charger engine...
