Just saw this video showing the relative speed of F1 vs GT...
No wonder the safety car sometimes looks like it's struggling a bit!

He he, at about 16 seconds, a Seven type goes down the hill in the left hand screen. It takes quite a bit longer than a car in the right hand screen.





Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

I love that video, Looks like the f1's are on fast forward! The tele is normally very deceiving in showing the pure speed off an f1 car seeing them in the flesh is a must!

Its not just the speed, but the noise!
Ive only been to one Grand prix, last years Silverstone, but the noise they make is awsome, we were just between club and abbey, and just on the gear change point, and the ground shook as they went past changing up a gear
