Anyone Registered a Kit in Bristol Recently

Anyone registered a kit at Bristol DVLA recently?

Just planning a head, my kit is currently at Aries having a pre IVA and then IVA test at Nottingham (once I get the date).

After I pass IVA I will get the car registered at my local DVLA office in Bristol.

I would like a new 62 plate, to get this type of plate do Bristol insist on a vehical inspection?

If so has anyone got experence how long Bristol take to inspect the car and is it done at their offices or at your home address.

Cheers,
Iain

iain are you not going to register it this year then, with you going on about a 62 plate.mine has just been registered on a new 61 plate. if bristol is the same as newark they only inspect your car if it is going on a q plate and then you also need to have an mot first.on a new plate it was just take in some reciepts, fill in a build form and pay your tax and registration.mine was all done in 10 mins, recieved plates 5 days later.good luck with the pass mate
