Good grief - I'm a granddad!
Had a call from my son this evening - my daughter-in-law popped my first grandson today - 5 lb 9 oz, 3 weeks early, all doing well!
It does feel odd to be a granddad!

Congrats mate! Does feel strange doesn't it?
We've had the grandson for the week and it's great fun taking them out, especially as you can give them back when you've had enough

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

Only 2 or 3 hours since we were told... still coming down to earth!
Unfortunately the missus has had a really bad cough and general lurgy the past couple of days, so there's no way we can go near the hospital for
a while...

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to bounce him on yer knee...
Then when he's grown a bit, you can feed him full of E numbers when you're babysitting and then walk away leaving him buzzing ![](/images//smilies/bigsmile.gif)

Contgrats to all concerned.
Hope mum n baby are doing well.
Just remember to to take the baby out in the kit car lots so they are indoctrinated from an early age ![](/images//smilies/bigsmile.gif)

Grandkids are best 'cos you can send them home when you get fed up of them
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
