Any opionions here I have had both brakes on previous cars and felt the same ish to me, but just asking before I buy this week,

Mmmm also undecided on this, is it really required? Not sure the striker will be getting it's engine upgrade at the end of the month and be
around 230 bhp and around 500 kg, so I think solids will be ok but will be on track more than road, so may just take the plunge for vented?,
Ouch why so long for them to deliver???? Not good

I had the same dilemma a couple of years ago after speaking to hi spec and wilwood I picked wilwood.
In my opinion hispec have the worst customer service known to man where rally design where I bought the wilwoods could not have been better.

Heard of a few problems with HiSpec's. Some leaking and others sticking on. Sticking one was a friend with a road car and the others were
stories I heard from RGB racers.

Does any body have the dimensions for making up mounts to mount a power light to replace an M16 Caliper?

I've been very happy with my Wilwoods on solid disks. If you do much track work I'd go vented though as I got the discs glowing
pleasantly at brands doing 10-12lap stints at brands last year.

For off the shelf stuff like you want then, Willwood all the way. Hispec are nice but you will wait a while for them, so unless you want something
specialist there is no need to go through the pain.
I met one of the willwood guys from the states at Autosport on the rd stand and you can tell that they are really into what they do and care about
their customers, but custom designs are a bit tricky as they are in the states. And being totally honest rd these days are essentially just box
shifters buying low and selling high. Essentially what happened to demon tweaks 10years ago has happened to rally design. It's not a terrible
thing but it lacks the Passion they once had

Seals seem to be a regular service item on them too. Oh and good dose of flex.

I ordered a set of brakes from Hi-spec a few years back... and cancelled the order after a 3 month wait! Seems that they still take their time, so
order WELL in advance if you do go with them.
