'Rally Design' Top Wishbone Adjusters - Any Comments?

Hi All,

I'm thinking of ordering a pair of the Rally Design top wish-bone adjusters (the threaded tubes the top ball-joint screws into).
Has anyone any experience of these?
Are they any good?

All advice appreciated.

Ta!

Are they using steel or alloy inserts?

Do a search, the alloy ones were failing - not sure if RD or GTS?

RD and GTS ones were the same IIRC.

In my opinion I wouldn't touch the ally ones, I have seen first hand what can happen to them.

There are steel ones available on ebay, the aluminium type have failed on me. There are several discussions on here about them. I would avoid them like the plague.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I seemed to remember there being 'issues' with the alloy ones but wasn't sure.

When I read the thread, (some time ago), I said that mine had been fine. But decided to take one out and have a look, this was what I found. Tried to photo the inside where you could see the cracks, but it just came out as a black hole.

I then purchased a pair of steel ones from Ebay, I am sure you can see why. HTH Ray
