Pinto Starter motor

Hello all.
Are there different types of starter motor for a ford Pinto engine?
Someone has ask me if I have a starter for a pinto (the one with a long bendix cone)
If there is one with a short and one with a long bendix cone is the outer casting the same?

There are long cone and short cone starters but the Pinto needs the long cone.
CVH needs the short cone as does the Zetec

To avoid any confusion the term Bendix only applies to intertia starters ie non-pre-engage.
Bendix held the patents for the inertia mechanism.

Most but not all Cortina Mk3 era 1600 pinto engines used inertia starters.

So do the starters from a pinto and a zetec look the same but they have a different cone length?
