Zetec tappets

Can anyone tell me if a 1.8 2008 Ford Focus (black top Zetec) has Mecanical or Hydraulic tappets?

Many thanks.

Hi I haven't looked, I'm just trying to get advice for a friend. He said Zetec but I'll have to check, Unless the model is Zetec so he assumed the engine was the same.
are all Duratecs mechanical?

the zetec name is everywhere on ford stuff now

the 'Zetec E' engine (aka the 'ZETA', aka 1.8 / 2.0 silvertop or blacktop) was in the 1998-2005 focus's
the 'Duratec HE' is in the 1.8/2.0 focus from 2004 onwards

but you can get zetec trim levels with just about any engine under the bonnet, even the oil burners.....
