Now that's what I call a lightened flywheel

42.3 lbs lighter is a worthwhile saving! Goes back some tine 12yrs and no comment on whether it worked or not.

Cant think why ?
I made an ally one for a V6'd Fury I did that was 7lbs - about 21lbs lighter than stock and that drove fine .
I do have a flexplate from an auto that is just a lightweight ring gear carrier - I'm thinking of making a minimal clutch holder in ally just to see how light I can make it .

I'd be interested to know if it still being used or how long it lasted.
Also how easily the assembly balanced when it was first assembled.
