ignition

been trying to rewire my melos,think I may have boo booed.could someone please tell me if I have wired the ignition the correct way..my ignition switch has four terminals.

1= acc

2=batt

3=ign

4=st.

I have 3 wires

1=brown

2=white

3=red/white

according to premier wiring the white goes to the coil positive,red/white to the starter solenoid and brown to the starter solenoid.

here goes.....I get the white to the coil + side and I think the red/white to a little spade connection on side of solenoid.but does the brown go to the in side of the starter solenoid or the out as it has two poles to it.

also which wire goes to which connector on the actual ignition switch..

any help will be appreciated

the lucas colours are:

brown, permanent live (12V) (unfused) ( 2 batt terminal)
white switch live (unfused) ( 3 ign terminal )

red/white start ( 4 start)

acc is accessories, radio and such like

brown comes from the battery feed of the starter solenoid
