List of paperwork for DVLA?

Just sorting out my paperwork for DVLA. So far in my pile of stuff to send I have......

Photo card driving licence
IVA certificate
Insurance certificate
V355/4 - new car application
V627 - build up inspection report
V267 - declaration of newness (did I need to fill this one out?)
Cheque for £55 for registration
Cheque for £77 for tax
20 printed photos throughout the build
Pile of reciepts

Have I missed anything or included anything I shouldn't have?

Cheers

I no this doesn't help you, but is your diff new? Surely it's Serria based which would be from a donor??

Looks a complete list to me. There's a list of what has to go with the form on the v55 form front page.

Don't remember having to supply driving licence and photos were only for VOSA with SVA (at the time) forms. Could just be my memory though.

I didn't send any photos?
"pile of receipts" ?? - make it easy for them. If you want a new registration you only need receipts for:

engine
gearbox
chassis
body
suspension
steering
axles

Pull out the specific receipts for those items and and mark on them as to what they are; that's what I did. If a receipt contained more than one thing (i.e. I had a receipt for suspension kit, steering wheel, brakes etc from the same supplier) I highlighted the relevant item that the receipt was for and put a note on the top.

Obviously 1 item can be re-conned, so if that is intending to be your sierra diff, you'll need a receipt to say as much.

Remember that DVLA offices are STILL open; they will check through your paperwork first for you if you're not sure - and it means you don't have to send off your driving license, as that check is only for the tax so it will be handed back to you.

So are you saying that the engine would have to be brand new and a receipt to say so to get a new registration? Because as you say you are only allowed one re-conned item

Yep, brand new crate with receipt
(Or at the very least a professional looking receipt saying as much!)
