Quaife reverse box

I've had a quaife reverse box delivered today and I'm unsure which way round to put it in the car.

There is a tag on one of the flanges saying longest prop this end, but by putting it that way my reverse lever will be back to front!

Are the bearings stronger in one end or something?

Depending on the install the long prop could be front or back

Bit confused!

Why don't you just ask Quaife? They supplied it!

When I put mine in, I put it with reverse light switch on the left hand side as you're sat in the drivers seat looking forward.

HTHs

Same as above

So when I want reverse I have to push the lever forward and for forwards or (reverse box dis-engaged) the lever is up straight
