Raising bonnet

Hi everyone I'm looking for a couple of strips of plastic or alloy to raise my nose cone and my bonnet from the chassis as the bonnet is touching my cambelt ,I'm looking for about 2x 1.5 metres long and about 30 mm width and 15-18 mm thick I've tried every ware from BBQ ,wicks and even a plastics place but no joy

No help with the trim but is lowering the engine and Option if only 15mm ? Or is this too much?

Failing that.poss use wood strip to raise it and cover it in 3m di noc carbon effect vynl

what about a bonnet scoop - that's what most folk do in this situation

could you not use some alu box section?

1"' x 1/2"', 1.1/2"'x 3/4"', 2"' x 1"',Aluminium Rectangular Tube / Box Section

£29 for a 3m length of 1.0" x 0.5"
