Crossflow to Type 9 gearbox query

I am sure this question has cropped up before..
I need to fit a type 9 gearbox to my crossflow but wonder which is the correct bell housing. The standard 4 speed Escort gearbox which is currently attached does not have seperate bellhousing. Does the standard Sierra one fit the crossflow or is there an Escort version which is seperate?
Hope this waffle makes sense!

Thankyou

Simon

The standard bell housing that comes with the type nine will fit.

But is ridiculously heavy! Get an RS2000 alloy bellhousing if possible.

Probably better to use a type 9 from the smaller petrol engined Sierras as the input shaft and bell housing are shorter. You will need to change the clutch as well .
