I'm sure someone has done this, but i want to use the action of my Kliktronic actuator to signal to the PC3 to kill the power to the coils and achieve the clutchless flatshift.

I am led to believe that this achievable by connecting the shift signal to the PC3 and adjusting the firmware accordingly. Has anyone done this and if so, how and is there a wiring diagram I can borrow

I think the PowerCommander quick shift function needs to be actuated via software.
The input is just two wires from a switch.
The software comes on a disc from DynoJet.
Not cheap for what is effectively a 'switch' - IIRC about £188 for the switch and software disc.
I fitted one to Angus's Radical - seems to work pretty well.
... and before you ask - no I don't have the software disc!!

the software is not available for download and is supplied on a mini cd. One click and the feature is activated.

I think the timing of the cut is important. The units only kills the spark for 60ms which you will not be able to do consistenly if atall from a manual switch. A microswitch setup a linkage may be possible, obviously easier on a sequential box.

My racelogic box uses a switch on the clutch?

Many thanks for the replies. I am reliably informed that the kill duration can be fine tuned with the PC3, in fact my old Trickshifter system had a kill time of 60ms from the factory and that worked fine.

All that's left is to figure out where I run the shifter signal into the PC3 to activate the Kill... as soon as i find out I will post it here. Got my rolling road in next weeks so will be able to not only fine tune engine performance but also maximise the synchronising of the gear changing for best results... LCBs save the day again Thanks all

that gp9 switch looks intresting, im currently trauling rsww, maplin etc for much cheaper versions.

The pc shift rod is definately plug and play (no splicing) and I believe uses the expansion port.

The install manual has pictures if we can find it

As paublo999 says, the PowerCommander Quick Shifter is a 'plug & play' fit with no wiring splicing required (unlike the Trickshifter wiring shown above).
The Quick Shifter switch plugs into the PC111 and only has two wires.
Switches are available which fit into the gear rod. These can be push or pull switches depending on which direction your gear rod goes for upshifts.
They also do linear actuator type switches which mount along side your existing gear mechanism.
Standard factory settings are 65ms cut and only operates above 4000rpm. You can re-program the cut dwell and revs from the PowerCommander software.
The Radical (ZX14) used the standard settings and seems fine.
