Just wondering if anyone has looked into running a custom overdriven 6th gear to drop highway cruising rpm? There are a couple of companies making custom gears for drag bikes with a taller 5th and 6th for higher trap speeds (mainly Busa engines) so figured that could be an option to drop the rpm on long cruising runs and even tracks with longer straights that require higher top speeds. Not sure how much room there is in a CBR engine for an extra tooth or two though which is what I would need it for.
