Good afternoon ladies and gents!
Would D ring dzus fasteners fail the IVA on sharp projections?
I'm intrested on using them to secure parts of the bodywork down as they come in several different colours and numerous lengths. Just my only
worry would be failing the IVA on projections.
Has anyone had this experience or know any better?
Cheers
Graham
At a guess yes Sorry
Couldn't you just cover them where needed with rubber wotsits for IVA? I'm sure a blob of silicon would hold a nut cover over it (and then
fall off afterwards)?
Rich
Yes, will fail. You would need re recess them or something.. Or you could use the countersink ones you open with a coin/tool as these go flush..
You could use a button head screw and rive-nut, you could the replace with the Duz fastener at a latter date (if you choose the riv-nut size with
care..

Thanks guys
I thought about using the countersunk one's but like the fact I could colour code the D ring with the bodywork!
