im wanting to learn more indepth about suspension and the setting up of it how it works what to change etc....
what book are there out there that people would recommend

I have the Stainiforth one and I think it's good and readable..

I can't find my staniforth book anywhere! Put it away for safe keeping and can't remember where that was... Frustrating
Stanniforths other book, Race and Rally Car Data source book is similar and might be better for the DIY builder, as he goes into the same depth of
theory, but with a bit more on material and fastener specs, and some racer studies, development and problem solving too, but either would be very
worthwhile books.
Theres also the Fred Puhn book which is OK but a bit outdated now (although the basics dont change) and has a lot of 'Yank-Tank' stuff in
it.
Milliken & Milliken is 'the' book, but its hard going, over my head to be honest, you need a decent engineering leaning although great
if you cant sleep...
