Differential overhaul

Hey there!


After a long time away from the build...
Started the diff overhaul. Had it disassembled and already came from sand blasting looking like this:








Going for powder coating next...

Your brave.... hope you didnt get any shot inside or powder coat. Its going to need a very good clean before reassemble.

Sorry for the thread hijack, but I was wondering about diff rebuilds. If a diff is whining now, will a rebuild be able to get I'd of it, r does this require a new crown and pinion?

No worries... The inside was protected. Just need to clean it right.

Plus you need special tools to set the backlash etc etc

just a dial gauge really - everything else you can make
