Prop to Diff bolts

Does anyone know the spec for prop to diff bolts for the standard sierra diff.
Or even better if anyone has some knocking around for beer tokens?

Thanks

Mike

Not sure but something in the back of my mind makes me think you are not supposed to use washers with those

Just use threadlock.

You can get them from Burton Power

Shakeproofs & locktite,
Belt & braces.
Been doing it on props since the sixty's not had one come off yet.
Don't care like anything.

What's the reasoning behind that?

The back face has machined grooves in it to help it lock.

The ones I got were genuine Ford ones as per their computer spares layout
They had no grooves machined on the back & are 10.9 tensile not 12.9 as stated on you fleabay
lookalikes, you can have too much tensile strength which in certain applications
Can have a detrimental effect.
The end.

In that case New Propshaft to Diff Flange Bolts: Escort Mk2, Capri, Sierra, Granada

I'm not using either. I found some spare flywheel bolts I had fitted perfectly. A blob of loctite and happy days.
