Hi Just wondering if anyone could advise me on suspension adjustment, driving my locost nearly loosens my fillings jars my back.
Can I get away with just adjusting the knob on the shocks or will I have to change the springs?
I have checked all the bushes and suspension arms for ease of movement all OK It's ruining a good run out for me.

Adjust the dampers down should make a difference but if it's not enough you will need to change the springs but don't over do it .
what tyre pressures are you running?
My car is very soft on dampers, no need to have to see the dentist.
Springs are cheap enough to be able to experiment with.
Depends on each individual car really. On my locost I set the front and rear ride heights, adjusted the shocks fully soft and then fully hard,
counting the the clicks. Then set them to mid position. Tyre pressure was way too hard, so brought them down to 18 psi , Toyo T1r's(195/50/15).
My car is for road use and this gave me an acceptable ride, although I did soften the rear 2 clicks later. I have a local specialist (Castle Coombe
area), who did the camber, front and rear toe in, corner weighting ect. Car weight with me, full tank and touring tools ect was 600kg. Tyres now 2
years old and no abnormal wear. Note that in soft setting, if you bounce the car up and down, you might see the front tyres moving ( toe in and out).
You definitely don't want this, wears the **** out of your front tyres.

Road or track?
Hi, Again run tyre pressures at 20 psi all round, will have a go at adjusting the shocks, is used mainly on the road.
Bouncing the back suspension seems to be quite soft but with my 17.5 stone in I'm not sure. front seems very stiff but rides the bumps it seems
to be the back that throws me in the air lol
will keep you posted on how it goes.

Have you tried adding your equivalent weight to the drivers side and see how much shock travel you have remaining. there is a risk that your running
close to the bump stops.
