Hello all,
Decided to sell my jago jeep and actually get on with the MNR instead of hoping the fairies come a build it for me.
Pistonheads ad
I do have some more pictures about that I'll try uploading with good and bad bits. u2u or even better john.carmechanic@gmail.com
Cheeers
John
god just your comments in the ad put me off
try putting down good points! I'm sure it has some
plus you need a much better photo at the start as there must be about 10 pixels in that I'm sure you can have up to 9 pictures so where is the
engine shot or the chassis underneath?
It actually looks quite good and has a great stance with those big tyres, if your bothered about cracks and marks in the bodywork you should see my
landy! it's a jeep (ok a copy) but who cares???
It's a simple, rust free, cheap to run, cheap to own fun car and perfect for surfers etc...get the idea??

I know. I'd rather say what it's like than someone turn up etc etc. I've been looking for a change of car for a couple of weeks now and quite a few cars described as good condotion are actually fairly tatty, a favorate seems to be good condition for age. In the end it's just a waste of everybody's time. I did add some more photos of it last night. Thanks for the comments will sit down and adjust as necessary.
is this still forsale??
Afraid not. Have just come on to say that I've taken a deposit and awaiting collection.
Hi All ,
I have no connection with foci John or his car but do know these cars very well- they are severely undervalued and the biggest danger is escort fans
buying them up to recycle the donors bits. We have had 19 of them ranging from basket cases bought for £30 or swapped for engines right through to a
beautifyl looking professionally restored machine which eventually travelled deep into France to live with some expats. Aerodynamics are crap but the
fun factor is huge, weather gear tends to be expensive but there is a steady supply of used stuff to go at and various locost solutions
There is nothing on them that cannot be fixed/replaced/swapped by the enthusiastic amateur and they can be customised to your personal taste, ( see
avatar pic ) there is an active forum/Club who regularlyattend shows, also gets a 10% discount on the insurance which is the useful bit.
There is a section on the Jagoowners Club forum pointing out what to look for when buying a jeep - mainly concerned with the floor and correct
registration with DVLA- there are a few rogue vehicles about which may cause problems to unwaryowners but as sadly hinted above the cars are often
worth more in bits than as a road going vehicle. We may be selling our own Jago Ninja later in the summer and it falls into the same category in that
it is laced with lots of expensive escort bits but drives like a gem with only1 previous rolls royce trained owner builder who ran the car for 20
years as his daily driver. I am still in the proces of trying to convince my wife that we really do need 6 cars
Personal preference is for 1600 x flow power but many pinto examples exist, if you grow tired of the ford stuff it is the right size rust free body
for a zook conversion, more crazy persons have gone with Landrover running gear- see Cooozers current project by way of example. The only thing I would
suggest to aid sale of the vehicle in the ad would be to spray the floors undersides with schultz or waxoyl.
