Crash damaged Sylva Leader for sale

1989 Swindon Sylva 400 (Sylva Leader) for sale. No engine or gearbox. Front drivers side wishbones bent. Spare body work. Car is Chevette based and was fitted with Fiat twin cam engine and matching gearbox. 2 axles available, 1.3 Chevette and HS Chevette. Need to clear out garage space so open to offers. Based near Colne Lancashire. Photos are already posted on JPSC forum.

whats the difference between the std and HS axle ?

standard 1.3 axle is 4:1 gear ratio, the HS axle is the same as fitted to Opel Mantas but is as narrow as the normal Chevette axle. Ratio is 3.44:1. The HS axle is quite a bit heavier duty, I acquired this for the 2 litre twin cam I was using as 4:1 gear ratio of the 1.3 axle was too low geared for a fairly standard 2 litre engine, I was soon running out of revs in top gear. The torque tube of the HS axle has been shortened slightly to fit the car.
