Bike Mirrors

Can anyone who has used bike mirrors, or knows about bikes tell me if these mirrors (not sure what they are, just off the MPS), or bike mirrors in general, will swivel enough to provide full vision? As where the mirrors mount on a bike will be at more of an angle than the scuttle of an Indy.

Also any ideas what they are a replica of, as i am wondering what the mirror size is for SVA.

What other bike mirrors have people used and any pics? I remember someone built a yellow indy and had some mirrors i liked, cant remember who it was, just they ran through some horse muck on the way back from sva! Rescued attachment mirror.JPG

Hi, Chris.
The mirror in your picture is a pre 2000 Honda Fireblade mirror. Lots of people use these mirrors. I bought a pair of non genuine fireblade mirrors and struggled to get enough adjustment.
Hellfire has used them though, so they do fit with carefull positioning. He has added some spacers to lift them up slightly.
But if you want some with longer stems, Honda VFR750 mirrors are the ones to go for. Same as the Fireblade ones, just about 30mm longer stems.
The glass size etc is fine for SVA and the edges are nicely radiused, so you should have no worries there.

Mac#1 sell a set of bike mirrors that they reckon are perfect for £40. Check out they're site and see if you like them.
