Willwood Rear Brake assembly WITH PHOTOS!

Anyone got a photos of their rear brake assembly? Inc the brake mounting bracket. Mine just doesn't seem to fit and I can't work out when is wrong.

Is this how it should be fitted to the bearing carrier? It is bloody tight, the holes are just out of position it seems.

If so I assume these are the holes the aluminium spacers mount to?

However look at the problem here. They are way out of line.

They fit perfectly into these holes but I am 99% sure it isn't supposed to mount to these holes.

If I am not doing something silly I will have to try and sand the holes into the right place. Just not sure which hole needs moving with regards to having a correct calliper position. It will be hard to adjust the holes too, it is a thick steel plate!

Also, should the Ali spacer be square with the mounting plate or at an angle like it currently is?

Yeah look at my blog for photos

It is tight and it does mount to the hub carrier.

Your spacers should be flat side to the caliper.

If your brakes are tight u2u to me and I'll explain the fix [from the factory]

Nice to see you use your [her] washing machine as a workbench as well....

Although my setup is a bit different to yours I reckon you're right to think your brackets have been drilled incorrectly. If I were you I'd ask for some new ones. Rescued attachment Rear axle.jpg

If your rear hibs are from an estate car there wider/bigger than a standard sierra hub, thus making the disc sit futher right i think.

if i was you, give mark a ring, mine fitted spot on,dont forget these are what your brake calipers fasten to,you dont want to be e-longgating the holes.

Just so this isn't a blank thread with no answer. Spoke to Mark who is sorting some new brackets out!
