well after a year on track I thought I best have a look at the bushes, dont ask me why...
They were easier to remove and reinstall than the first time. probably down to practice etc. but on inspection they did need to be re-greased with
copper slip. I probably didn't use enough the first time around. All the bushed were dry with a little residue grease left.
It was also a good exercise as a spanner check and in ensuring all the nuts etc were done up correctly.
Planing on doing mine at some point, It's almost tempting to install grease nipples..
wouldnt bother with that nasty copperslip. red rubber grease is sooo much better. does cost a bit though
Copper slip isn,t really a grease, more like a copper based grinding paste
I use this, and I think a grease nipple

I've revised my personal opinion on this based on my experience.
That is, do not use copperslip, but use any other moly or general grease
