Front arch stays

Is it common for the Mac1 front arch stays to touch on the brake caliper?
If so what have people found to be the best way around it please?

It's a ZR kit using Sierra hubs and calipers.

Cheers

nice one thanks.
It's the diagonal bar that's touching the caliper just below where the feed pipe enters caliper.

I've got Wilwoods and the stay definitely doesn't touch. That's probably not much use as you're using sierra callipers.

If it's touching, will a wheel even fit on?

yeah the wheel fits ok.
pics of where it fouls, and the caliper will move further inwards as the pads wear, so it will then foul more.

Don't know I'm afraid. My stays look to be a different design to those ones. I'd give Mark or Col a ring in the morning, I'm sure they'll have the answer!

Yeah prob are different due to mine being the older ZR kit

Any chance of a pic of your set up please for comparison?

E-mailed Mark, the stays are a option when the kit is bought new, mine are the ones for Willwood calipers, typical.

Downside to buying a kit thats had two owners allready I suppose!

Time to get out the Mig again
