Well after a VERY long wait, the guys at Mac#1 have finally received a call saying the paperwork has been received and that my car can be booked in for its test. All being well, and assuming we dont manage to elbow it in to a cancellation slot, the test should be on Friday 25th July........... cant wait

Just got to hope that the decision to go turbo doesn't throw up too many problems

Mate about time mine has been sitting around for a ages cant be leave the dvla are taking so long to sort these dates out have you seen yours running yet ? and good luck pal .

No not seen it running yet. Still needs little bits of work to finish it off before its up and running.

Any news pal? im still waiting on mine its driving me mad been months ,have you been to the workshop lately

Hi Jay. Test got cancelled as they hadn't got the car finished in time. Now got to get it re-booked which will now mean probably another 2-4 week delay and me missing pretty much all of the summer!! Not a happy camper!!

Just come across this thread in my post history and thought I would provide an update....... basically 3 months further on from when the test was booked for and I still dont have a car or a new test date. Car still incomplete in the Mac1 garage waiting for them to finish it.

My car has been there since May and still not back ..
