At work then on holiday so nothing happening here.
Seeing as the car has no chance of being ready for Le Mans then I'm not in a rush any more. I'm making plans for the bike having a jaunt round Europe instead.

It's (was) friday night, talked bullshit down the pub, not on here

Placed an order yet ? Best mind you're having a bike engine, none of that pinto business

You'll find most ring up Mark or Col rather than ask questions on here. They've answered the phone after 7pm before now.

I'm at work too. Should be out driving on Monday though

Nope, Home from Saudi on the 8th. Fit a scottoiler on the bike, load it up and away we go.
Le Mans is the same weekend as Newark, then twisty Swiss mountain roads, over into Austria, drop over the hills into Italy, pick up the gf in Venice and cross into Slovenia for a weeks paragliding. Return is the reverse of go, more or less!!
I'll get to the car in July or August I guess.

Coozer, there are loads building Mac#1's at the mo. The problem with this section is that few people have problems, and those that do are usually sorted by mac#1 themselves........ which is nice.

What is this i hear about your alternative engine plans..... sounds a tad unorthodox! Fancy putting a car engine in a car. Ive never heard of that before. The BEC boys wont be happy about you deserting them!! LOL

coozer - 31/5/06 at 08:37 PM

considering a 2.0L zetec now as the bike engines are for rich people. I can get huge power from an old zetec for £1500.
And no cat at SVA! Yahoo!!

Are you going to Newark Darren??

JoelP - 31/5/06 at 09:08 PM

whilst i wouldnt deny that a tuned zetec is a worthy option, i got 2 bike engines for £600 all in, and had one running for another maybe 500 including an exhaust. That surely has to be the cheapest way for a fast locost?
