nah but i can try and convince myself
Good luck, mine is all sitting ready in the garage; the only problem i have is that my wife won't let me start it until our new house is
finished!!
So I've only got 200m of skirting boards to finish, then a quick paint and the car will start.
Roll on!!! The more I look at all the boxes the more it scares me, but Ha Ho.
The bit that really excites me is the thought of rolling up at Newark 2008, and inspiring somebody else to build a Mac1; as you did for me.
Well done Rich, cant wait to see the car on the road in March. Did you manage to suss out your fuel tank positioning idea?
Your dash looks reet canny by the way. Can i touch it again some time?????
Ewan - i can remember those times very well indeed. I was lucky that i managed to finish our house before ordering the kit. Unfortunately sold it now
so need to get the winter mods done before we find another.
It is a bit daunting when you first get all of those bits home. Best advice i got was think / measure twice - cut / fit once.
Its just a giant 3D jigsaw, one step at a time and soon you will run out of bits. I hope it goes well for you.
Darren.
Ewan,
I hope that 8 was a spelling mistake
It shouldve been a 7 really shouldnt it ?????
Newark 2007 should be big this year !!!!!

Jos,
I was just covering my basis, and i would love to be at Newark in 2007. Having looked at the wiring loom it could 2009.....
Maybe i could bring all the bits i havn't finished down to Newark and a few beers and we could all do it together, or will that take all the fun
out?
yeah baby, that'd be great
just make sure bold place or cold plaice arent there again otherwise the loom might turn into a noose fo rthe lead singer LOL
Or get Mac#1 to arrange a bigger stand and we could do a build demo indoors.

i must admit 2006's tribute act wer'nt a patch on the jewish guy in 2005 (Rabi Williams) , roll on 2007.
Nice one Rich, Good luck with the build.
I'll have to travel up sometime to have a look.
Good luck Rich, not that you will need it, being an automotive/electrical genius!(and a top bloke)

Saw the chassis yesterday. In a word - WOW!!!! AWESOME!!! I wont go into details as that is Rich's thunder at a later date but suffice to say i cant wait to see the finished car.
