I'm the fastest EVER!!
chipie - 27/6/07 at 10:05 AM

Thats right, I am the fastest, I managed to remove the back end of my MAC#1 MK Indy in 4min 34secs, yes thats right in under 5 min.

To top it all off it took a little longer 4min 55 secs to put a new one back on.

You saw it here first replaced the back end in less than 10min. Check out the videos if you don' believe me.

I challenge anyone to beat that!!

Aye..... Not bad...... but i bet you couldnt put a fruit pastille in your mouth without chewing it

You are moving quite fast in the vid. Are you sure it hasnt been editted

coozer - 27/6/07 at 10:14 AM

Thats not the quickest... how about hanging the backend out on a roundabout and whacking a lamppost.

That will get the backend off in a couple of seconds...

fesycresy - 27/6/07 at 10:27 AM

At 16 seconds the hammer comes out to play and the wheels aren't even off !

Good effort

I blame the coffee

If you look closely I am sure you can see the grass grow outside the garage door!

whitestu - 27/6/07 at 10:58 AM

Very impressive. It takes that long to get mine out of the garage!

How was it fastened on?

Mine's riveted.

I'm sure there's just a lickle Hollywood style special effect trick photography going on in them there videos....

Either that or you're sponsored by Red Bull Xtra.... (or have a serious amphetamine habit!)

russbost - 27/6/07 at 12:18 PM

OK, providing you're happy to work at that speed would you like a job building Furores?

chipie - 27/6/07 at 12:27 PM

When I was 14 years old I actually did eat a fruit pastille without chewing it won £5 for it.

I was thinking of the lampost trick but I didn't have time to fix the lampost .

Ahhh the hammer, I couldn't get the wheel bolts off, never taken them off in 3 years, then I found the proper tool sitting behind me where i left it.

There is no Hollywood style special effect trick photography the only editing I did was chop off the end where I left the camera running with nothing happening.

It was rivetted on, wheel arches are bolted.

All will be revealed in good time!!

DarrenW - 27/6/07 at 02:36 PM

No trick photography eh!!!!!!! So you must have a time lapse function on your camera then?????????

i couldnt watch all of the vids right through as my connection speed is chronic - i must ask therefore why did you remove back end?

chipie - 27/6/07 at 08:57 PM

And the prize goes to DarrenW, yep time lapse, go a new Canon Ixus camera, its great fun.

Well after 6 months in Cyprus the day before I was due to leave a woman in a 4x4 reversed into the back of it. She didn't see it!!

I love it when what we presume is SWMBO comes in to tell you she's not keeping the tea warm any longer...
