As above. Looking to start gathering parts in the next few months and was looking for some advice on what engine to use. I am going for a BEC so what can people reccomend?

yup the kawasaki zx10r is the engine of choice at the moment
alternatives are R1 GSXR1000 blade or busa although the latter is relatively expensive

Home much money have you got to spend ?

Remember a ZX10 would need the right ratio diff (freelander or one of the elusive 7" Fords) whereas an R1 or 'blade would be happy with a 3.62.
