First MOT pass!

Well, it did technically fail on the offside headlight aim being too high & the front plate being the wrong size but I'm well chuffed with the result!

New plate sorted as below:

Needless to say, I've now removed it!

Is that a smaller lower numberplate below the nosecone?
Can you pass the MOT if you have two plates (one correct and one incorrect)??
I'm worried they might query my stick-on plate @ MOT and obviously whereas putting a temp correct plate on is easy, temporarily removing a stick-on plate isn't!!!

locost solution would be to cover the stick on with insulation tape!

That is the smaller plate below. He didn't seem to mind as long as there was one legal one there, and he knew the proper sized plate was coming off as soon as I got home. I just cable tied it to the grill. If your worried just mask your smaller plate over so it doesn't show. They can't argue with that even though they know very well what it is.

Aha! duck tape saves the day as ever.....

I recently broke the magic circle code of conduct and revealed the holy laws of DIY to my wife

1) if it should be stuck and isn't- duck tape
2) if it sticks and shouldn't be stuck- WD40

anything else is just showing off

Duck tape is like the Force, it has a light side a dark side and holds the universe together.
