A friend is considering selling his 60's British Motorbikes and using the money to buy a 3-wheeler with front mounted V Twin engine.
At Goodwood he looked at the current 3-wheeler Morgan which he really liked but they start at £30K so that's a non starter.
I had a trawl around the net but the ones I could find were either 2CV powered or I couldn't actually locate the manufacturer. (Names like
JZR).
Anyone any experience of these. I suspect he will want to buy something already built or needing completing rather than a kit as such.
John.
Just google Triking.
Lots to look at
Denis.
Also, look at Aerocyclecars.com
JZR used to do a nice one with either Honda CX500 or Guzzi power, don't think they are made now.
This one doesn't use V-twin power, but its a very nicely turned out kit.

Do morgan still have the 30 year waiting list? We had a business assignment at uni about their pathetic car production rate and why it was so slow, apparently the majority of people on the list passed away before they got their cars

I'm pretty sure it was Triking (may have been someone else, but defo trikes!) who had an indoor stand at Newark this year.. nice cars with a Guzzi V twin.
My bro's just ordered a Pembleton kit, uses 2cv running gear but you can swap the engine for a Moto Guzzi using an adaptor plate the kit
manufacturer supply's. After a load of research its the cheapest option a Triking will cost you about 16 large for the kit then the donor bikes
going to be circa £1500. We reckon the Pembleton built will be £2k.
His chassis arrives anytime soon, when it does Im going to take a skeg at seeing if I can build one but adapted for a mid mounted modern bike
engine.
Keep you posted.
Cheers,
Bob
