Hey up,

not realy sure which section to put this into, but here goes....

can any body give me a clue as to what price i should advertise my locost at.....?

its a MK escort chassis, live axle. gaz shocks etc. 1360cc fast road xflow with twin 40`s onto standard 4speed box with quick shift. Goes very well indeed, 70 bhp at the wheels at 6000rpm, reves to 6500 so prop a little more than 70 i reckon... mayb 71bhp! sounds awson on full flow!!

body is a mix of GRP and alu, seats vinyl buckets with harnesses, full complement of ETB dials.

OZ superturismo alloys 15`` with toyo proxies. everything except the diff and gear box has been fully reconditioned

it is a good build quality, SVA insopectors comments `first class build` redgistered late may 04, done 2000 miles. sertainly turns heads!

i dont want to part with her cos it took me 3yrs to build but needs must for space for the next project...!!

any ideas of price would be good.... and any offers even better!!!

cheers

bob

Nice looking Car Mate !

Top spec Locosts change hands between £4500 and £5000 The only things going against your car are the small engine( although a young buyer might see this as an advantage) and the lack of a"named" seat package - most people like a sports seat. Might be worth investing in some fibreglass ones, maybe MK to pep up the interior.

As it stands I'd advertise it at £4500 and not except less than £3800.

in my humble opinion

Cheers

Chris

And BTW I'd keep it!
