I have one of each and confirm neither sex favours in any way. Boys are destructive and girls just bloody talk

I wouldnt swap them for the world though. (well maybe for a Bugatti Veyron)

Mainly because newborns tend to sleep a lot, take advantage of it!

Congrats Matt, it's a pretty incredible feeling (though I was a bit numb just after the birth!). My little girls not quite 3, and often comes to help me when I'm playing with my cars!
