Matching Air Box.
So a little bit of progress has taken place this weekend with the engine now neatly sat where it should be rather than on the garage floor, but more
importantly the Bright Green Airbox is also in place. I wasn't exactly sure how this was going to look but I think it looks the dogs dangly
bits.
What do you all think?

Do you also have some pictures how the airbox is fastened to the throttle bodies ?

Very nice
I'm a bit worried about your front brake lines. Do you have enough on them to allow you to get to full lock?

Theres a series of bolts in the base of the airbox. They drop thru the existing holes and bolt underneath (I think) Just need to check with MAC#1 if
I need anything else.
Not checked the brake lines on full lock but its not pulled them out of the caliper or body work so can't be that bad. I'll check later
and post a reply.

Just spoke to MAC#1 and it 'bolts to the original plate from the bottom of the standard 10r airbox'.

Yes but how do you get to the bolt heads in a enclosed airbox like that? The standard air box has holes in the top with rubber plugs in to allow a
long socket through.

The screws are already secured in the base of the airbox. So drop the original base from the 10r airbox on to the shiny new one. Secure with a few
nuts (not using the brass inserts in the original box plate) and then fasten to entire thing to the throttle bodies. ( I think thats how it works
anyway)

I took the bottom plate and rubbers off the TBS and reversed the clamps so that the fasteners face the top of the engine. Attached the air box the
reattached the rubber to the TBS and tightened the clamp up
