Question of covers to Mac#1

Have you ever looked into getting some rain covers made to cover the cockpit? Maybe something that can popstud in place - designed for straight roll bar but with a fold over bit for angled bar. Maybe to fix to scuttle on drivers side of screen so it would suit all screen types.

Ive thought about getting one made but they are expensive as a one off - i suspect the price would be better if volume was a touch higher (most of the cost is in making the pattern i guess). It would be nice to keep the thick of the rain off when parked up at work - i can cope with a touch of dampness.

Covers

Darren, if you can persuade your wife to use a sewing machine, you can get hold of some very nice waterproof fabric from Woolies, it is around £16 per m. They also sell the thick thread that you need to join it all together, and the poppit fasteners.

As for the one off cost of manafacture, 1 box of chocolates and 2 take way meals

Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt.
