Hmm.. that will be my crap insurance company starting the fire just to make sure I can't have one of your great motors. Thats on top of them refusing to pay me out because they know what I want the compensation for!!!

Best of luck guys, hope to see you back on your feet shortly and just as good, if not better.

Steve

Very sorry to hear the news, as long as everything was insured, you might be in quite an enviable situation, being able to start up again with all the ideas all ready in place, and you also know what you want to do and how to do it !!
Best of luck with the new set up, things can only get even better from now on !!

Can only really echo what has been said before. Have had the pleasure of dealing with you on a few occassions now and always had excellent service and a good natter. I'm sure you will emerge bigger and better out of adversity and look forward to visiting the new Mac1 when you are sorted. In the meantime, if I can help in any way just add me to the list of volunteers.

Guys, that's really sad news.... so very glad that you are both unharmed. Here is hoping that the 'red tape' doesn't take too long, and you are up and running again very soon.
All the very best,
Fozzie

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Malc - i was one of the daft sods running in and out completely ignoring the fact the roof was on fire!!!! It is so eary ti see thick black smoke oozing out of the walls. If it wasnt for fireman sam with his thumb over the end of a garden hose (ie Mark) trying to fight the flames back we would have had 10 seconds less. Believe me that last 10 secs felt like it was in slow motion.
A lot was saved but there was huge huge amounts of gear that we simply couldnt get too. In reality we only managed to move what was on wheels which seems so little now when you reckon up.

Someone once said to me its amazing how fast you can run when your ass is on fire.................................

Top attitude all round. Hope you managed to get the demonstrator to safety so at least they can get to Harrogate.

Were the jigs and moulds on site? if they are safe getting some level of business back on the rails should possible fairly quickly.

Good luck.

Boyz,

I am so so gutted on hearing your such awful news. Obviously the main thing is you boyz are both well but like everyone else cant believe what has happened.

MAC#1 has not just a business to us but one of the few in this field where very few kit car enthusiast or business have either not heard of you or dealt with you. Your both always happy to offer great advise and been a good supplier of parts 'n' toys.

I really hope it's not long before you guy's open your doors again and I'm looking forward to putting business your way again very soon.

All the Very Best Guy's & Good Luck

P.S. I Hope to be sampling some of that very dodgy coffee of yours soon
