More rear brake questions

My holes in my brackets don't line up either, only 2 holes line up




but if i mount the plate towards the front ( caliper at the front of the wheel ), they fit, i take it the hubs are handed, if i swap them round, the calipers will then hang at the back of the wheel, or does it really matter what side the calipers are hung

wont make any difference which way the calipers are mounted have a look at cars tomo and you will see front back top bottom sure some one will come along and tell me im wrong any minute now.

Yea the uprights are handed. Looks like you need to swap the round.

Best way to check is using the Sierra bearing carrier. It has a flat bit on one side, see photo below! This needs to be toward the front of the car and it will only fit this way correctly if the uprights are on the right side!

Hubs all swapped round so the calipers now hang at the back of the hub carrier.
